Working with editors
Within shippingNET do most of the work in a list or editor. All pages have a bar with actions that are relevant to you. The actions are almost the same for the individual editor and the list of entities. For example, you can manage a single shipment on the Shipment Editor and in the Shipments list, including printing labels or documents.
Example show editor:

Areas of the editor view
- At the top left, you'll find the title bar followed by contextual information.
- At the top right is the configuration bar with the default actions Edit View.
- In the middle, the information of the record is clearly displayed. In the case of large objects, the information is divided into index cards.
- Below the flashcards is the action bar with the actions available for the respective editor, especially for Save, Print and Close.
Title bar

The title bar shows the name of the editor followed by contextual information. For example, in the shipment editor you can see the shipment number, the customer followed by the route information, as well as the shipment symbol and the current status of the shipment.
Action Bar

The way you open a page, and the context of your action, will affect whether actions are available. Actions may look different, may not be available, or may not exist at all. Not all actions are relevant to all processes or are supported. Also, some actions require you to make a selection. Unsupported or irrelevant actions are invisible.
Data Entry & Verification
You can use TAB to jump from the current field to the next field. Most of the controls support the usual functions.
Warning
When exiting the field, the input is validated, but not saved!
Click on the Save action in the Action bar to save the data. Your changes will be validated and subsequently stored in the database. If there is an error, the error message will be displayed under the title bar.
If you don't want to save the changes, click Close. In this case, when you exit the editor, you will be asked if you really want to discard the data.
