System Configuration
In the System Configuration, take the setup of your shippingNET installation.
Changes to settings can have far-reaching consequences!

To ensure that your business processes run smoothly, coordinate this approach with your project manager!
Basically, the system configuration is divided into different areas and contains different menu items depending on the user's permissions. Most of the settings are made in list views. By activating or deactivating, you set whether the corresponding record is available as a selection. In some lists, you can also overwrite settings or switch to the corresponding master data editor.

Your changes will not be saved until you click the Save action in the action bar below the editor. If you leave the editor without saving, your changes will be lost!
Master data can be activated or deactivated for a specific client. Additional In some masks there is the possibility to overwrite individual values.
Configuration Areas:
General: General settings, such as business documents, order types, units, number types, or statuses.
Regional settings: countries, languages, currencies and time zones. With regard to languages, it should be noted that on the one hand there are languages that are activated to store language-specific information and on the other hand to serve as interface languages. Attention: Not every language is also available as a surface language!
Devices: printers, scanners, scales, paper sizes.
Organization: Central information on the organizational structure. These settings must be well planned and must not be changed without further ado!

Resource management: vehicles, people, required qualifications. The settings are particularly relevant for the dispatch scheduling system.
Production Control: Customer Shipping Methods and Packing Lines.

To use this feature, please contact your project manager as a few setups are required to run smoothly.
Logistics: Carriers, services, loading equipment, routing types, types of transport, types of refrigerated goods, dangerous goods master data and much more.
Warehouse: All settings related to the storage module: rack types, compartment types, removal procedures, picking strategies, blocking reasons, etc.
Allocation: Settings that affect activity allocation, such as, document types, accounts, accounting periods, exchange rates, etc.
