Article group

Item groups group items into groups according to specific characteristics of the items in the assortment. Differentiation from product groups: The properties used to differentiate are much more detailed than for product groups. For example, a typical hypermarket has fewer than 20 product groups, but several hundred item groups.

Caption	Description
Responsible site	The responsible department determines the owner of this articlegroup. This controls access permission. Articlegroups are restricted with the master data filter. See also concept-authorization.
Number	The number of the article group.
Name	The name of the article group.
Parent Group	The parent article group. This can be used to create nested article groups.
Productmanager	The product manager of the article group. This is the person in charge of maintaining the items in this group.
Is rent article	The items in this group are rental items.
Max shelf life (in days)
Picking Operation	Specifies the withdrawal procedure for the articles of this group.
Picking optimization	Specifies the picking optimization procedure for the articles of this group.

Required Resource Package Template	Defines the required resources for the delivery of the articles of this group in the dispatch dispo.
