Third-party systems

In shippingNET you can create IT systems that shippingNET.

To ensure that these systems work smoothly with shippingNET, store the reference ID for data records from the point of view of the other IT system.

Example SAP integration

  1. In the Control Panel, under Third-Party Systems, create the SAP System. Each system has a unique ID and name.

  2. In the Organization Editor, store the Reference ID of the organizations according to the SAP system for the relevant organizations. This reference ID can now be used in the interface to SAP. This ensures that data changes are reliably replicated between the two systems.

Note

Usually, these third-party system references are automatically taken into account in the interface. This ensures error-free referencing.
